Supporting a Major Retail Banking Transformation – Mexico City, Mexico

July 2026 – March 2027

Currently based in Mexico City, I am supporting the leadership team of a major retail financial institution in the execution of an ambitious, enterprise-wide transformation programme. The initiative encompasses the implementation of three strategic technology platforms covering Cards, Core Banking and Customer Onboarding, representing a significant evolution of the bank's technology landscape, operating model and customer proposition. My involvement focuses on providing strategic advisory and independent Quality Assurance (QA), helping programme leaders navigate the complexity of this transformation and ensuring that technology implementation is accompanied by the organisational, operational and business changes necessary to realise its full potential.

Working closely with Programme Management and senior executives, I provide an independent perspective, strategic guidance and an additional layer of assurance over programme direction, governance, progress and alignment with the original business case. This includes helping ensure that Strategy, Technology, Operations, Human Resources, People & Culture, Marketing and Regulatory functions remain aligned, and that the decisions taken across these areas collectively support the programme's objectives. My role is to act as a trusted advisor and sounding board to programme leadership, bringing together the different dimensions of the transformation and helping ensure that strategic ambition, execution and business outcomes remain consistently connected.

I will be working on this initiative from July 2026 until March 2027.
